What Pro adds, honestly described

• Clips and GIFs. A part of a video, cut at the keyframe with no re-encoding, or an animated GIF of up to 30 seconds.
• Record this tab. For a player nothing can fetch: what plays in the tab, picture and sound, saved as a video. Chrome and Edge; never YouTube or a DRM-protected service.
• Evidence mode. A record beside each save with where it came from, when and its SHA-256, plus a picture of the page.
• Your own cloud. Save straight into OneDrive or Google Drive, with a share link.
• The original sound. The track exactly as the site served it, as .m4a, with no re-encoding, including from long videos and streams.
• File names your way. A template with the title, site, date, resolution and more, everywhere or for one site.
• The stream engine, unlimited. Assembling HLS and DASH streams, and joining picture and sound served apart, is free for everyone until 9 March 2027. After that, Free keeps three engine saves a day and Pro keeps it unlimited.

Pro runs inside the free extension. There is nothing else to install.

Your browser will ask for access to websites. That is how Grablet sees media on the page you are on. Nothing is ever sent to us. Why it needs that

On Android, install Grablet in Firefox for Android. Also available on desktop Chrome, Edge and Firefox. Grablet is not available in Chrome for Android or Firefox on iOS.

What stays free, permanently

Grablet has one rule it will not break: nothing that is free today ever becomes paid. Pro exists to add capability, not to ration what free users already have. There are no download caps, no watermarks, no quality limits and no account in the free tier. There never will be.

Files are organised into Downloads/Grablet/<site>/ whether you pay or not.

The engine is paid for because it is new. No version of Grablet could do this before it existed. Nothing was taken away to make it.

Ninety days of Pro, on every install during the beta

Every fresh install starts with a free Pro trial: the engine, clips and GIFs, cloud saves, everything, with no key, no account and nothing to cancel. Install on or before 9 March 2027 and the trial is 90 days, and it stays 90 days for that install for good; installs after that date get 30. When it ends, Grablet goes back to Free: assembling a stream stays free until 9 March 2027 and is three a day after that, and everything free stays free.

How Pro is unlocked

With a licence key, and nothing else. There is no account and no sign-in. Your key is a signed token that Grablet verifies on your own device against a public key built into the extension. Checking it makes one request: a read of a public list of revoked keys, when you paste the key and at most once a day after that, with no cookies, no key and no identifier. That is what lets the privacy policy say plainly that we cannot see what you download, for paying users as much as for anyone else.

1. Buy a licence. The key appears on this page as soon as you have paid, and arrives by email at the address you gave at checkout. It is one long line that starts eyJ.
2. In Grablet, click Get Grablet Pro or any PRO button, or open Grablet’s settings.
3. Paste the key and press Activate. That is the whole process.

Licence details

• One key covers your own devices, Chrome, Edge and Firefox alike.
• Pro is ₹999 a year in India and US$12 a year everywhere else, as a subscription; the checkout shows the one for where you are. It renews automatically once a year, and each renewal emails you a fresh key to paste over the old one. From two weeks before the key ends, Grablet’s Pro panel and Settings show the date. You can cancel any time; how, below.
• Lifetime keys bought before 6 September 2026 stay valid for life.
• The key is emailed within minutes to the address you enter at checkout, and shown on this page for 24 hours after you pay.
• A full refund on request within 14 days of any charge. Details below.
• No account is created.

Cancelling and refunds

Pro is a yearly subscription. It renews automatically once a year, and each renewal emails you a fresh key to paste over the old one. You do not need to buy again, and buying again would start a second subscription.

To cancel, email support@grablet.app. Write from the address you used at checkout, or from any address if you tell us which purchase it is: the receipt number in Stripe’s email, or the date and the last four digits of the card. There is no cancel button yet; the email is the whole process. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the paid year, and Pro keeps working until then.

Refunds: a full refund on request within 14 days of any charge, the first one or a renewal. Same address, same inbox.

Lifetime keys bought before 6 September 2026 never renew and never expire. Nothing is charged for them again.

Built since this page was first written

Three things once listed here as planned have shipped. All three are free:

• Save all. Every item the popup lists, or just the ones you tick, saved in one click.
• A media library, with folders, tags and search, kept on your own device.
• Sound as MP3. A single track, converted inside your browser. The untouched .m4a the engine lifts out stays Pro.

Planned, not yet built

Listed so the boundary is clear rather than to sell anything. This is not included today and is not what a licence buys right now:

• A desktop companion application

Crawling a whole thread or profile at once is not on the list and will not be. Grablet saves what a page has loaded in front of you; it does not walk a site on your behalf.
